About
Dr Banchhita Sahu is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and lead for Gynaecological Oncology at Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust (SATH). Her private practice is based at Nuffield Hospitals, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
She is a gynaecological oncologist with an interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. She was instrumental in the introduction of total laparoscopic hysterectomy (keyhole hysterectomy) at SATH and is trained in performing complex gynaecological keyhole operations even in the morbidly obese women.
